On Sunday 15 December 2024 at 14:30, the Nijmegen Student Choir Alphons Diepenbrock (NSKAD) will perform the winter concert ‘Mozart’s Requiem & more’. A concert with a diverse programme of works loved by many!
Besides Mozart’s famous Requiem, works by Felix Mendelssohn and Thomas Weelkes, among others, will also be heard. The programme will also include the beautiful pieces ‘O Heiland, reiß die Himmel auf’ and ‘Geistliches Lied, op. 30′ by Johannes Brahms. To end the programme, some traditional Christmas carols will be sung to get into the winter atmosphere.
The concert ‘Mozart’s Requiem & more’ will take place in the atmospheric Groenestraatkerk under the direction of regular conductor Leenke de Leege and organist Jan Pieter Lanooy. The solos in the Requiem will be sung by four of our choir members.
